Mainly that discussion centered around people wanting to know how to actually do this. Including this comment.
Brevity is the soul of wit. This was at the core of Financial Pro-Tip when I started out in February of 2020. I wanted a writing project which would allow me to vent my frustrations at our economic and political systems and I wanted one that would constrain me to a limited number of written characters, as I have a tendency to ramble. And that is how the format of FPT came about.
From the beginning, I had entertained the idea of a compendium blog with more long-form thoughts and ideas based on the FPT posts, but I never saw the need, and more critically, I didn't think anyone would care. Recently, however, the idea has come up again, and I feel like writing, so here we are.
As of right now, I am not committing to updating this as often or as regularly as FPT, but whenever I feel I want to elaborate on an idea or provide an addition to a post there will be a link provided to the blog post.
And of course, all content produced by Financial Pro-Tip is satirical in nature. We are not liable if you get caught.
